The Challenge: Existing learning platforms were often rigid. I envisioned a flexible MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) platform for exam preparation that allowed for the creation of truly personalized educational paths from the ground up.
My Action & Process:
I co-founded Betaschool and led its development from scratch. I developed the architecture of the platform’s unique, bottom-up logic where individual tasks were “atomic units” that could be combined into sets, allowing educators to build deeply customized courses. As CEO, I also managed all operations, strategic planning, and team collaboration.
The platform’s robust feature set included:
- Four distinct user roles (admin, teacher, student, parent).
- An embedded landing page constructor for marketing.
- Integrated modules for rendering LaTeX mathematical formulas and hosting Zoom conferences.
Key Achievement:
Successful Acquisition: After demonstrating its technical capabilities and market potential, the entire platform was acquired by the prestigious Sochi Sirius educational group in 2020.
